ALL DELIVERIES WILL BE NO-CONTACT BY DEFAULT UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. ALL DRIVERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPTMENT (P.P.E.), AND WILL BE CLOSELY FOLLOWING STATE GUIDELINES.
What if I have an issue with my delivery? Please contact us promptly by phone if an issue arises with your order so that we may handle it immediately. (912) 689- 9748
Is it possible to cancel my order? No. Once the order has been sent to the restaurant, it cannot be canceled. Please call in advance to cancel any pre-orders.
Is there a minimum amount of food I must order? Yes, 10$ is the food minimum for every local partner.
What is your delivery fee? Island Time Takeout utilizes a distance based delivery fee system. Restaurants closer to your delivery address will reflect a lower delivery fee while ordering from restaurants farther away may slightly increase the delivery fee!
What is Island Time Takeout? Island Time Takeout is a restaurant delivery service, offering high quality delivery from all of the best locally owned restaurants and other local businesses, straight to your home, office or hotel room!
What areas do you deliver to? Island Time Takeout delivers to the ALL of BRUNSWICK, ST. SIMONS, SEA ISLAND and parts of BLYTHE ISLAND, EXIT 29 and STERLING! Delivery is available from any of our local partnering locations to ANY address in our delivery radius (have Brunswick restaurants delivered to Sea Island addresses or St. Simons restaurants delivered to Brunswick addresses, etc.).
May I call in my order? Absolutely! Although placing your order online is a more streamline process, you may call anytime during business hours and our dispatcher will place the order for you!
May I place an order for a later date/time? Certainly! Take advantage of our pre-order feature which allows you to select a later date/time before starting your order!
Is gratuity included? Gratuity is NOT included but strongly encouraged! While drivers are provided with a small additional hourly wage, they rely heavily on the gratuity from deliveries. 100% of tips go directly to the driver!
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash all major credit and debit cards. We do NOT accept checks as method of payment. Drivers DO NOT carry change for their safety, so if using cash please have correct change!
May I order from restaurants not listed on the website? Unfortunately, at this time, we are not offering delivery from restaurants not listed on our website. Please check back at a later date for new partnering locations. You can help us out by mentioning us to your favorite locally owned restaurants that you would like to see us partner with and deliver from!
Will 100% of tips/gratuity go directly to the driver? YES. Drivers are paid a small hourly wage and receive 100% of gratuities from all orders taken!
May I split payment? You may! Use the split payment feature at checkout to use multiple cards or cash card!
Do your drivers carry change? NO. For the safety of our drivers they DO NOT carry change. If you pay with cash, please have correct change!
What is your refund policy? If a refund is issued, the authorization charge will usually drop off within 2-3 business days.
Do some of your menus differ from the restaurant menus? Some prices and items will differ based on the restaurants preferences, locations, etc...
WARNING! Food prepared at the restaurant may contain wheat, fish, egg, soy, nuts, or dairy products!!! Please specify any and all allergies at checkout and we will relay them to the restaurant. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shell fish, or eggs may increase risk to food borne illness, especially if you have medical conditions.
IMPORTANT! It is always the restaurants responsibility to make sure your order is correct. All drivers are instructed to never open any food containers or boxes for any reason. If any items are left off of your order, or made incorrectly, please call our dispatch center for assistance.
